Bring the permission holder into the plan
Identify who controls the chosen space, entrance and visiting hours. Review a sketch showing equipment, washing, user access and supplier approach. The ordering person should not assume those decisions are theirs to make on a shared or reserved property.
Make the handoff work without you present
Give the receiving contact the accepted placement and order details. Agree how concerns, extensions and collection are requested and who can approve revisions. Keep sensitive entry information private and contact the supplier before changing a unit’s position or connections.
The property route from arrival through removal
Walk the route before selecting a position
Look at the entrance, turns, gates, ground surface and overhead obstacles. Distinguish the unit footprint from vehicle clearance and the usable space for doors and people. Describe uncertainties to the supplier. A photograph or map can help a discussion but does not replace a site-specific access assessment.
What if you will not be there for delivery?
Brief the receiving person on the approved location, any conditions and the contact who can resolve a change. Ask the supplier what information they need to assess access. A photo can support that conversation but does not authorise unattended entry or establish that the delivery vehicle will fit.
